nevermind, I put the steering wheel back on and used it like a slide hammer and beat the hell out of it until it came off. Thanks for the help scannon! Now am I going to have to reuse that plastic bushing when I put the new new column on? And do i need a new one or can i reuse the old one? Also I test fitted the new column and it isn't straight with the holes for the steering wheel, is there a way I can adjust that?

I removed the ignition where you put the key in and tried again and it still is stuck. can you explain this bushing a little more and where exactly it is? The sound of where its getting caught is coming from the third picture where I unbolted it from the shaft

I'm trying to install my new quick release steering column and i got it almost out but it seems to be catching on something. It only comes out as far as the pictures show. When i try pulling it out you can here it hitting on something. Am i missing something? Do i need to loosen the two bolts under the dash?

Are these still being made? i would like a bellypan and also the sump guard. Is there anyway to contact Mike? he hasn't been on for a couple years it looks like.

Hey i was just wondering what the difference is between these two rear suspension styles. Is there any performance advantage to the watts linkage? I have seen a lot of cars with this option.

Hey i wanted to know what my caterham is currently worth (insurance reasons). Im not selling the car but just want to know the current fair value. I have a 2003 Caterham Dedion with a 2.0 Zetec motor. Leather seats, ITB's, 6 speed and has 9267 miles on it. Body is in good condition, the car has a few rock chips here and there on the front nosecone and rear fenders. Thanks in advance.

I just bought these new nitrons for my caterham along with the widetrack suspension kit. I was wondering what i should adjust the spring preload to for the front and the rears before install these on my cars. Id like a slightly lower or stock ride height, nothing too low. Thanks

i am getting widetrack suspension on my car so i wanted to know if this quick rack would work with my car. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/suspension-steering/caterham-alloy-quick-racks On this site they have a 8 or 22 percent version. I do not want the 22 percent version, only the 8 percent. But when i click the 8 percent version it says they only have it available in the narrow track version. alright, how do i know if my car has mounting points for a rear sway bar, where are they located? my car is a 2003 s3 dedion. Also are the only available rear sway bar kits from caterham or are there others available?

alright thanks again for the response, i think i will go with the 5/8in like said before. now i just have a question on the brakes, i want new bigger brakes along with the widetrack suspension, which of the 7 speed brakes will work, 232 0r 260mm I am gonna get new rims too eventually, i want wider and lighter rims like yellow7 said, so will this make my my brake choice different?

thanks for the response, since the widetrack depends on the brakes i think i will do the brake upgrade as well. I decided to get the widetrack front suspension for my car and now am just deciding what setting i want/need for my car. My car is a 2003 S3 dedion the the chassis options they have are imperial or metric, I'm pretty sure i have imperial right? Also which anti roll bar should i get, they have quite a few options, my car is a street/track car.
