    thanks for the help i did it yesterday, worked well. i had to use a hammer and punch to get post to expand all the way. looks good and the windkick is alot more sturdy. ill have to go on a test drive to see how much the vibration of the mirrors has gone down. next on my list is getting the removable steering wheel!

    thanks, thats what i thought, i couldnt see how the rivets would help hold the button on.

    drew... i got a question. i was about to put the buttons on the windkick and i forgot where the rivet went. does the rivet go through the button to hold the button top on the windkick?

    just thought id post a few pics of the current setup of my car. took off the windshield and got the cf windkick and mirrors. one question, where can i buy some of the buttons that connect the middle of the windkick to the buttons on the body? (3rd pic) i want the windkick to be a bit more stable and permanent. heres a size comparison to my maserati too.

    a prank that i like to do often is crawl underneath someones truck/car and attach a bunch of super long zipties to their driveshaft. so when they start the car all the hear is a bunch of loud ticking

    just got my detector wired in! it works too, doesnt get blocked by the windkick! i got it wired to my ignition so it turns on when the ignition is turned on.     alright then where should i take it to get it done? theres really no where to take it. am i just SOL or what?

    so i can tap a relay for a +12v source? which relay would be a good one to tap that turns on and off with the ignition? it says on the relay which wire is the +12 right? And also how should i tap it (what connector should i use to go from the realy to the wire) Thanks

    actually thats what i didnt want to do. i want the detector to turn on and off with the ignition so im going to have to tap it off of something that does that
