  6. I think the rear brake uses Ford Sierra caliper
  7. Your caliper looks like AP.
  8. The logo G (Girling) is stamped on the caliper in my picture of the 2 pot brake.
  9. I think Caterham uses Girling 14 for Triumph Spitfire. Take a look at the stamping on the caliper and compare it to the Girling catalog.
  10. Have you changed the fluid? You are welcome to try my Performance Friction front pad. This is the recommendation from the Fort Worth Caterham dealer to fix rear brake lock up. It worked.
  11. Skip: did you paint the calipers red on your upgrade? It does make a big difference. Take a look at the F-cars.
  12. I went to the garage and took pictures of the standard and AP brake. Black wheel is the 4 pot and silver wheel is the 2 pot. My butt test at the track cannot tell the difference on stopping power.
  13. I have both versions. The racing master cylinder requires even stronger leg. People nowadays are used to servo brakes on their modern vehicles. Caterham has none. First time drivers of my Caterham are always surprised by the braking effort. I late brake on corners at the last moment and my passengers sometimes stick their hands out thinking the car is not going to stop down. Get used to the brake feel and you will be surprised how late you can wait before hitting the middle peddle. The AP brake is also come in the same black color as the standard brake.
  14. Caterham uses AP brake
  15. Performance Friction Carbon Metallic on the 2 pot.
  16. I have the 2 pot brake on the Zetec and the AP 4 pot brake on the R300 and SVT. Honestly I cannot tell much of a difference between them.
  17. I used Performance Friction Carbon Metallic on my SV. They work well on the track but they do squeal bad on the street.
  18. Picture of my R300 front wing.
  19. It took a year of waiting back when I ordered the SVT ten years ago. History is repeating itself which is good news for Caterham.
  20. The zip tie works fine.
  21. There is no play on two of my three Caterham. I added zip tie to the bottom to the frame on my third Caterham
  22. This is the nose cone of a Caterham SV. There is a lip at the bottom to hook over the frame. There are no bottom bolts.
  23. The meetings are held at different pubs around town.
  24. The Houston Lotus Club meets every second Saturday of the month at 11 am.
  25. Come to Lotus Owners of South Texas (LOST) meeting this Saturday - 4/14/18 Saturday 11 am, there will be several Caterham owners at the meeting. LOST Meeting/Birthday party at Peli Peli Kitchen @ Katy Freeway at Campbell Road. Plenty of parking space, easy access, South African fusion food, and sufficient adult beverage. I have made arrangement with the restaurant to have tables ready for us. Please let me know of your attendance. Please note the restaurant entrance is at Campbell Road, there is no entrance off Katy Freeway. The Campbell Road exit ramp is very close to Campbell Road, you will have to cross three lanes of traffic to turn right. You may want to take Voss Road exit instead.
