I had the R300 painted from bare aluminium to neon yellow including the roll bar, nose cone and 7 grill. I also had the carbon fiber front and rear wings clear coated. The labor cost to disassemble and assemble the car is a major cost item. To register in Harris County, you need to get a safety inspection sticker and ask for a green sheet. Since the car is already titled, you should be able to take your current title and green sheet with proof of insurance to the County Tax Assessor to get your Texas plate.
