  1. Excellent run! Will you be invited back to play in sand box again?
  2. http://www.wipac-aftermarket.com/acatalog/Classic_Headlamps.html Wipac makes the headlights for Caterham.

  4. Price does not look unreasonable. The question is who supplied the Duratec because Caterham USA used the Zetec during that period.

Where are you staying? I am not going to C & C this Saturday. I am on the west side of town. Let's get together. PM at pkwan@landtech-inc.com Paul
  6. I have a set of Speedhut gauges in my Mini Cooper. The temperature gauge is 20 degree F too high vs. a mechanical gauge and the speedometer is 5 mph too slow vs. a TomTom. They are easy to read and not that expensive.

  9. The cloth Caterham seat is softer and hold you better than the leather Caterham seat. But it is harder to clean than the leather seat. Like Skip said, the seat is simple to install because the bottom is removable.
  10. The Caterham leather/cloth seats are comfortable and light weight. The seat is designed to accommodate the harness. Being a two piece seat, i.e. the bottom is removable, makes it easy to vaccum the car after a track day to remove the gravels or grass.
  11. The SV seat will not fit in a Series 3, therefore most likely it will not fit a Birkin.
  12. Go, Andrew!!
  13. We were on our way to Mendenhall Glacier but the rain came down when we got there.
  14. Last week we were visiting Alaska and spotted a yellow Caterham at the Walmart parking lot. We were in the city bus and could not stop to chat. What a sight!!
  15. http://www.raceline.co.uk/products/part_section.asp?SectionID=62&CategoryID=4 You are correct. 5 quarts.
  16. Call Jeff Sloan at British Auto Specialist in Fort Worth. The Caterham alloy sump is by Raceline and it takes 4 quarts of oil. I have used Performance Friction pads on the standard brakes. It works good except for the squealing.

  19. Congratulation to making your Caterham legal in California. Jeff Sloan takes good care of his customers.

  22. Be patience. Winter time is a good time to buy.
  23. In the 2005 USA Tour, Jeff Sloan and I were at the warehouse near the airport helping the Brits assembling the cars after they were unloaded from the containers. The main group arrived later that afternoon and then the tour begun. The Houston Lotus Club provided each car with bottles of water before they departed from the warehouse. My wife and I leaded the groups to the motel through 5 pm Houston traffic. A lot of them were having a tough time with the summer heat. Several of the wives elected to ride in my wife's air conditioned Hummer instead of their Sevens.
  24. I take them. Please send contact information to pkwan@landtech-inc.com
