  1. Interesting car, does it have functional weather gear like a top, side-curtains and wipers? I'm wondering if a fly-in drive-out is possible. Ted
  2. Hey Mike, got the driver names from results. I didn't see Jay's name. Caterham shunt is at about 38:20 https://www.scca.com/videos/2026894
  3. Thx Croc, I figured this is the place to ask. The 2 ads you refer to are from about 5+/- yrs ago? Ted
  4. Hi All, WireWheel has an SCCA EP Caterham for sale that is claimed to have run in the 2009 SCCA Nat'l Championship Runoffs. 3 Caterhams were entered, one was hard in the guardrail towards the end of a very wet race... does anyone recall the number (77 or 87) or driver's name (Richard Kosdroski or Richard Adams) of the car in the rail? Ted
  5. Congrats Jeff, That was a great 7 and properly used! Regards, Ted
  6. I'm getting a weird echo...
  7. It's all a question of tire width and compound... it seems some folks here haven't really looked at a modern race car.
  8. Hi Tony, Sorry didn't see the new ad... Regards, Ted
  9. Sorry to hear about the damage, glad to hear you weren’t hurt… The lot in Bowie has had incidents like this regularly for years. I've looked at the problem of accessing the lower lot safely and to the disappointment of a lot of drivers; I’ve concluded it can’t be done. SCCA safety rules are an excellent base line for autocross course design, common sense is equally important. Running a performance driving course through hard obstacles 25 feet apart doesn’t pass either standard. A lot of clubs use the lot in Bowie but only one I know of, doesn't use the lower lot. 10. Edit your post to 'Kumho'... AST are a mediocre all season tire IIRC.
  11. Great looking car... where are you?

  12. Congrats Steve... I'm happy for you.
