914/V8 any help.

So in the world of V8 engined neat cars-Cobras,Panteras, Cheata's Outlaw cars, anything. Whats right about a well designed 914 with 350hp running thru a 901 gearbox?

My only 914 drive made me HATE the gearchange-The balance of the 914 and the 350 chevy.its being in LA near my kids--so go to 16K?-more, on ebay

I am not sure I follow your question. I know there are V8 914 swaps out there, are you tempted by one?

What's right? A mid engined Porsche with preferably a high winding 302 screaming directly behind you, that's what's right.

i owned a Rod Simpson 914 for 5 years, possibly my favorite street car beside my 2006 Ford GT.

So many times I dusted a Vette or Porsche, inevitably they roll down their window and ask what's in it, I'd smile and tell them it's a stock 1.7 with a cam shaft. Just like any 7, it's all about who built it.
