RGTorque
so, with info from MichaelD i got a car cover off ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lotus-Seven-57-72-Caterham-Fitted-Outdoor-Car-Cover-SALE-/200582992462?hash=item2eb3ad924e:m:mTTZO6L8fBKXFStxNg0STig&vxp=mtr cover is VERY nice. it fits my ultralite VERY snug... i would have it be a inch bigger in length and a hair lower (i have 18" wheels) otherwise not change a thing. pardon the mess in the shop, i had a shelf brake and everything is on the floor until i put my new on up. pics of this cover on MichaelD's car can be found here http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?10381-Seven-Car-Cover&highlight=car+cover http://i.imgur.com/785oQfcl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/2QIBl2nl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ty7KnRPl.jpg
Kitcat
Nice. Can't tell abt yours, but my cover has a strap midway that fastens and tightens underneath and holds the cover in place.
RGTorque
mine has the straps as well. but its on so snug that i cant imagine any wind removing the cover... even what we had last year over the 4th at njmp.
MichaelD
Mike, This cover does as well. I have had two other covers in the past. Both were overly large and difficult to manage. This one is almost perfect even with the full cage. I would use the straps if I kept the car outside any length of time. Currently I only use it over night at the track. Keep in mind that this cover is actually made for a Caterham Seven so it is form fit. Other Sevens may have a slightly different shape. Shoe String Racing
"Keep in mind that this cover is actually made for a Caterham Seven so it is form fit. RGTorque
i find the cover is a bit loose on top but around the fenders its a bit... tight. really depends on your footprint or fender overhang i think.
Shoe String Racing
The vendor responded to my caged Superstalker dimensions and said it should fit. Guess I'll order and see since I can (and probably will) make minor mods myself.

Shoe String Racing
Thanks Michael, looks to me that the critical dimensions are overall length SS = +8" rear hoop height SS = +1.5" rear hoop width SS = +3.5" Would you think there's enough room in your cover to accommodate that additional SS volume? Thanks for the help.
MichaelD
Ted, I am in the midst pulling the motor and trans. Once I get them out I will put the nose and bonnet back on along with a few boards on the cage to make it a little taller and wider. Then I can see how much stretch is left. Even if it is on jack stands. You are looking for +3.5" in width and 1" taller cage with +8" in length, Correct? Who cares about the sides as long as the rain can't get in the seating area :-)
Shoe String Racing
Thanks Michael but I think I'll go ahead and get it on the seller's word it will fit. Plus I'm kind of handy with a sewing machine if it needs some adjustment.

Shoe String Racing
I bought the last one and got it today. Fast and a great price compared to other specialty size car covers I've had. Fits very well; not too tight; I'm happy with it.
