Adjustable ball joint for Triumph upright

I don't think this has been resolved. At least can find nothing on the site. Building adjustable control arms for my S4 Seven. Considering using the top adjustable ball joint. What is the source for the adjustable upper ball joint (tie rod end from?). Or, what vehicle is off of? Standard is Spitfire. Canley Classics has similar arrangement Fits Spitfire only , Bank Europa does also and it fits. The S4 Seven has an S1 Europa front suspension, I think, the steering rack is Ford. Not sure if the sway bar is specific to the S4 Seven yet? Thank you for the time and information.

I don't have the exact answer, but I've seen it on numerous formula cars over the years. These folks (link) have the type of upper a-arm you are talking about, but for a Spitfire. They sell the upper ball joint as a separate item.

I too have seen the upper adjustable ball joint on formula cars and Sports Racers from the sixties. But where does in come from? UK Ford Van or? Something from the USA that has the correct taper, no problem with threads.

I think Steve is describing the upper ball joint found here: (3rd item down)

I'm not aware of any adjustable arms for a series 4 7. I have only seen how it is done on a series 2-3 seven with the top link in the photo below:

The adjustable upper arm in the picture that Mike (Kitcat) posted is obviously on a car with a separate upper anti roll bar. I also have a set of very similar upper arms that are "done" and in stock that are very much like the arms in the picture in the post by "TheDingo8MyBaby" and are designed for a stock type suspension. Those arms are fully chrome plated just like the arms in the picture that Mike posted of my car, and I can provide complete with outer ball joints or not. Can send pictures if you like. Thanks, Craig Chima, CC Motorsports

P.S. Need to clarify on the above because had a brief brain fart when doing my prior post. My adjustable arms for stock type suspension have adjustment on the inboard side just like in the picture I referenced above and meant to say that I can provide with or without rod ends, and not the outer ball joints. Further clarifying, the outboard side of my adjustable arm is completely stock, including the outer ball joint. Craig

Craig, You have adjustable upper arms for the S4 and S1 Lotus Europa? Yes interested, if possible can you e-mail pictures? I do not like rod ends on the street, would adapt to have adjustable Metalastic bushing holders. I assume, half inch rod ends?

Thank you, Steve V.
