slngsht Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 That makes me want to get a blower for my car
WestTexasS2K Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 The cars look really nicely detailed. I bet your proud of your fleet. You will have to bring that monster to Run and Gun at Gateway International raceway Oct 11-13. It is an absolute blast and should be attended if possible. You get alot of track time and get to visist with like minded gear heads. It is alot of fun. http://www.runngun.net

BusaLoco Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 That makes me want to get a blower for my car Me Too! :iagree:
slngsht Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 well, you can always go back to normally aspirated. a blower on my engine won't be very peaky... more like a freight train :yesnod: maybe you can talk busaloco into swapping parts with you I have never driven a street legal BEC, but have about 20 hours of seat time behind a turbo 600cc formula SAE car (with the restrictor removed). You can spin yourself dizzy
WestTexasS2K Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Well the Engine is turning at 11k but the driveshaft is much slower. I am not sure what the final drive on the Busa engine is but I bet it is no more than 2500rpm. Still a bit scary since it right beside you. How much power does a turbo Busa make I have seen 280 to 400 depending on boost and tuning? At those levels they should move along pretty well.
BobDrye Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 One of the problems with putting a busa engine in a 7 is the there is a 1.5/1 reduction gear between the engine and trans.
BusaNostra Posted July 29, 2007 Author Posted July 29, 2007 One of the problems with putting a busa engine in a 7 is the there is a 1.5/1 reduction gear between the engine and trans. Another problem besides a very hyper engine is the clunky shifting. Don't like that "Clunk" sound.
slngsht Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Is the clunk sound any different than any other bike sequential tranny?
