:hurray: Just ordered one of Dennis Brunton's Stalkers for my next project. He seems a great guy and the car is awesome! I am going with the Supercharged version and have already acquired a motor. 240 hp in a 1400 lb car! Wow!

Anyone have experoence with these? I spoke with several owners and they all rave about them, and Dennis as well.

Russ-

Welcome! I hear that John Meyers is putting out 400 hp...so beware. I spoke with Dennis today at VIR, he was his usual charming and funny self. There are several Stalker owners on the forum...I'm sure they'll be in touch.

I was truly stuned at how great some of the Stalkers at the Dragon looked. And, man, they were fast!

Sounds like I made a good choice:cheers: I may need to thin the herd though as I only have room in the garage for 3. BTW, anyone in this group near Dallas?

Congratulations.

Haven't ridden in one yet, but the Stalkers I've seen have looked like a whole lot of fun.

Welcome to the Seven-ing club. :hurray:

Congratulations!

As a Stalker Owner, I can assure you that you will be happy with your car. Lots of work ahead of you, but much satisfaction when you have it done. I know there are a couple near Dallas.

All the seven owners I have met have been FANTASTIC people. I look forward to meeting you on the Stalker Forum and hopefully seeing you in person at a future Stalker Ambush.

The SuperStalkers are really fast and fun cars. I dont think you will be disappointed with the purchase. Since you are in the Dallas area you should come out to the Sevens Festival in Oct. We are joing a car show then Autocross on Sunday morning. I am sure there will be some Stalkers there plus you get to visit with other 7 enthusiast it is alot of fun. I believe that there is a message in the events section about it. If not PM me and I will get you the details.

Congrats! And welcome to the "family".

Once Dennis gets you all set up, you will be able to join the Stalker forum. There is a wealth of info and help for any issues you might run into during the build.

The Super Stalker is a lot of car! I have a "normal" Stalker with a 3.4 and it's quick enough for me.

See ya' on the forum

New member, and not an owner, yet, but longtime 7 fan. I'm in Fort Worth if you find you need a hand ... or if you're in need of a passenger when you finish up!

I have to be the one to break the bad news to you: After getting your stalker sorted and learning to drive it- those other cars in your collection are all going to feel like your driving Miss Daisy in a heavy proverbial bucket of bolts- unless you have some spiritual connection with that XKE, I would stop the restoration in it's tracks- sell it on e-bay and put the money into your '7'- I am speaking from the experience of spending a few years (and $1000's of other peoples money) modifying perfectly good E-types to try to get them to handle 1/10th, no 1/20th as good as any 7.

Personaly- I would keep the Alfa (for those cold days)- sell the rest.

Are you building the Stalker or buying it 'ret to go'?
