Dave:Weren't you/aren't you also a Caterham dealer? This seem like a great price for a pretty high spec Cat that has just enough miles to have been sorted out.

yes, we were in the caterham business for about 25 years. This was the last one we built, for me. It is a great car- but, as said, I don't get it out very often and cant see it just parked in the warehouse. I based the price on what another one sold for on the site earlier this year. when I ordered it, it had the standard duratec intake system. I ordered the roller-barrel set up just after we finished it. it is so responsive!

I know this is an unlikely inquiry but I have nothing to lose by asking on this rare opportunity.

Would you like to sell the Aeroscreen? I would drive over from Albany same week to grab it and it wouldn't affect the overall resale. I've been trying to source one for my SLR and you don't come across them within driving distance.

Beautiful car though!

at this time, I prefer to sell the r400 outright, as I just don't use it. Let me consider your 7. can you provide some details?

I was mostly just kidding about the swap ... Didn't think for a second that you would entertain that idea. I have only owned my Seven for a couple of months but wish that I had the foresight to wait to find one with the Duratec engine and in a spec closer to what I really want. That said, mine is a 2001 SV pictured above with the Zetec Engine, individual throttle bodies, SVO heads, and uprated cams. Red interior, full weather kit, and lots of spares. (2 styles of Carbon Dashboards, Carbon sill guards, carbon front cycle fenders, and many more) I have installed LED tail lights from JustAddLightness that we're an exact match for originals.

It drives GREAT and I have put about 1500-2000 miles on it in the few months I've had it ... Had it inspected mechanically and a track safety inspection at Havoc Motorsports when I first bought it and have had it on 3 or 4 track days as well.
