scannon
The video in the middle of this article lays out how much money each team received for the 2016 season, the latest season the figures were available for. https://jalopnik.com/of-course-mercedes-wont-to-agree-to-a-more-equal-distri-1844659167?utm_source=jalopnik_newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2020-08-
panamericano
Speaking of Mercedes. Is n't odd that with their DAS, they are still in big trouble with tire wear? If the DAS was worth the trouble, they should have the best combination of alignment to manage the tires. Obviously not so.
Anker
It was the rears that gave them the most trouble today, and they aren't affected by DAS. Also, the commentator noted that front end camber affects front end wear, and appeared to claim that Mercedes is aggressive with their front end camber. I don't know whether camber is affected by DAS.
panamericano
Yeah, different commentators regarding DAS. Adjusting Toe would seem more logical. Anyway, rear wear is mostly excess power or maybe mismatching setup. Last week was all front wear. Genius stuff, but not really a silver bullet. And some teams are complaining about the Pink cars keeping the illegal ducts, but FIA is allowing MB to keep DAS this year only. So, consistently crazy rules.
