Moif Posted January 6, 2022 Share Posted January 6, 2022 I bought this engine 11 years ago with dreams of a track build... but the original donk in my Caterham just kept going and going, so I never got around to it... and then I sold the car. The engine is completely stock. Ithas been under covers in the back of the shed and has never been installed in a car. Who knows what these things are worth. Closest thing I have found is a remanufactured engine for $2875 plus core charge. So I reckon $2000 buyer to pickup in the San Francisco area or arrange shipping seems like a sweet deal for a special friend. Who wants it? As a bonus deal sweetener I will throw in the custom made rolling engine dolly that I made myself. This was my first and last welding project (not proud) and all I can say is that it rolls and hasn't collapsed (yet). This pretty little engine belongs in a Seven. The zetec engine continues to sit in the back of the garage, ageing gracefully. If you are interested please PM me rather than reply to this thread. I've decided to try and rebuild the existing engine as it is filled with race parts. If anyone wants to buy this, please contact me.
