IamScotticus
this is a CRB for a Ford Merkur or 2000, whatever.. Supposed to be the thing for the T-9. It appears the inner sleeve is off center. Yes, there is rust, but otherwise, is this CRB usable?

Vovchandr
IMO Cost benefit analysis isn't there to try to reuse any questionable part.

IamScotticus
On the subject of release bearings, When I set up my cable play, I have the option of preloading the bearing. This has been discussed elsewhere, with the opinion that keeping a light contact with the splines, thus keeping the bearing moving, helps reduce bearing face wear on the take-up. Any experience with this? T-9 to Xflow Edited March 11, 2022 by IamScotticus
7Westfield
I had cable with my T-3. I left it loose, basically just the weight of the pedal when at rest it may also depend on pedal height you want Edited March 11, 2022 by 7Westfield
