I have a stupid question. The parts did not come with any instructions. I am installing the 4 pot A/P / Caterham calipers and a little confused about the pins that hold the pads. They have a band for lack of a better term at the end of the brake pad pin. I assume that is what retains the pins. I assume you push them in and the band compresses and holds the pin. Is that correct?

Hey Carl,

That's how it worked for mine, it was a black spring steel circlip type deal on mine, it was a compression fit.

Thank you - It seemed to be the way it should work, but I haven’t seen that before.

I think the brakes are fine, but they haven't been used yet. I had everything ready the end of July and have not been able to touch the car. My wife broke her ankle and is just now starting to put weight on it. I am actually going to take the car back apart to get the guy who put a cage on Bartman's car to put one on mine.

Hey Carl, Sorry to hear about your wife sounds nasty.

Dan is a super guy you'll be happy with the results I am sure.

Cheers.
