"blats. u needs blats!" - yea, Jon, I can hardly wait!! Hope to have it running better by this weekend!

"That sure is different looking by far!" - I agree Rob. Wasn't quite as proud of it the second time towing to the DMV. I just have this strange feeling that as soon as I get my plates they're going to fall off!! :D

odd how i too sometimes torque bolts to inch pounds instead of foot pounds. i bet ur notes were misplaced as well with regard to those bumpers :)

Bruce,

Congrats. Nice job. I'm with "Boxologist" as far as the bumpers are concerned. Gravity prevails. Now you can run the asphalt dyno!

Cheers,

Dermot-

PS: The package arrived at my friends shop last week and I got to see it this past weekend. Looks great. I agree with your observations. Thanks again, note en route.

Good luck with the car.

Bruce: Nice job!

I have to ask...do you think you could have walked into the DMV office with MI title in hand and just done a title transfer?

I ask, because that's what I did. The only issue I had was convincing an inspection station (independent shop) that I only needed the "safety inspection" and was exempt from the OBD2 check (which it is since my engine has no OBD data port)

Dermot - Glad you got your parts ok. Look forward to updates on your project!!

"I have to ask...do you think you could have walked into the DMV office with MI title in hand and just done a title transfer?" - We tried that originally JBH, but they said we would still have to pass the safety inspection at the Wethersfield office. Originally we were going to have to pass the emissions test, or apply for a waiver and hope they accept it, but since 7/07 all composite cars are emissions exempt! I hope that last bit of info will encourage more people from CT to get LSIS's!!

Thanks for the kind words guys!! :D
