peregrinemotors
Apologies, did not mean to put no reserve, meant to just say that the starting price is $17,
spitfun
There are plenty of auctions that start at the sellers lowest sell price, that doesn't mean that's all they will get-the market will decide, all it takes is a bidding war and all bets are off.. Alex-Ks1
Yes you are right, I have also seen at car auctions in person when an owner thinks his vehicle is worth 75 K$ and at no reserve it sells for 15K$, and you still have you pay the auction house their 8% Barrett Jackson was like that for a long time, I don't watch them or go to them any more
spitfun
I think he mentioned Ebay, selling on there is not structured like that..
Alex-Ks1
I put 2 cars on E bay, both buyers chickened out after the sale. I would rather separate fly shit from pepper with boxing gloves in dim light than do it again
JohnCh
Hi folks, this is an interesting conversation about auctions and worthy of a dedicated thread if there is interest, but this is a for sale ad, and we are well off topic. Out of respect for @peregrinemotors, let's please keep all further posts in this thread on topic. Thanks, John
