7Westfield
trying to ID an early 7 race car, we presume an S2 where would the number tag have been? no sign of it, or any open rivet holes would this have been an Arch frame? I know there was a link on here somewhere to someone who had all the info, but I can't find it Edited November 6, 2023 by 7Westfield

Jbrueckh
Look next to the brake/clutch mount. Should be stamped there. Alternatively, look at the tube in front of the seat cushions. See link below, first page post by Henry H.. Edited November 7, 2023 by Jbrueckh Added info
NSXguy
The arch chassis serial number on my very early cat was on the driver side(left) rear shock tower. If your frame has been painted, it might help to scrape until you get to bare metal. I had to on mine as I initially couldn’t find but alas there it was, under 2 coats of paint. ianashdown
Lotus or Westfield? How early do you think? Ian
Joe Petty
Traditional places were the frame square section near the clutch and brake master cylinders and on the floor cross member for Universal Radiator frames. It would not surprise me that owners would stamp ID numbers in obscure places, I have several on my frame. Check any Lucas items for date stamps. I have found month/year codes on the starter and generator. also the voltage regulator and turn signal flasher! Good Luck!
