Frankie
I saw awhile back we had some posts about our unique license plates from our Seven members. Just got this today and thought I would see what you guys thought and maybe get some more.
Christopher smith
Great plate! I am using 59 L7 . In Pennsylvania the antique plates are very limited as to the number of letters/numbers, so that was my pick. You sure have some great roads as I recall. One time the car rental guys at SLC stuck me with a Continental Town Car. I recall how scary the thing was on your mountain roads and certainly felt best to keep that vehicle "in Town". How is that race track west of town? pethier
I have 74PHIL. In 2008 I got it, my wife still had her Triumph TR44SUE. Collector plates in Minnesota never need replacement or yearly fees, so 74PHIL was still reserved for me when I got my current Caterham. I had kept the physical plates when I sold off the other car in 2010, so I was allowed to register the same plate on my "new" car. 218 bucks to register the car and I never have to give another dime to the State. Ice
Very nice looking plates. Also very envious of the collector plates on your Caterham. Lots of states (like my state of CT) don't allow classic plates on kit or composite vehicles, so even if they're older than the 20 or 25 year cutoff you're stuck with regular passenger plates. I don't even care as much about the assessed taxable value, classic plates suite these cars much better than standard passenger plates.
Vovchandr
Not sure how I missed this thread I think I might be locked out of using it after I surrender my registration but we shall see.

Twenty years old or the company is not still making automobiles is the law in Minnesota for collector plates. And any car eligible for collector plates, whether or not it actually has collector plates, is exempt from the requirement to display a front plate. Frankie
These plates are so much fun. When we have a unique car it is nice to be able to use a unique plate! Vovchandr, When talking to a stranger about my car I often refer to it as a large Go Kart!
