MV8 Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 (edited) Saw this Alfa at my friends body shop today. Front tires were completely bald too. Also had a Graduate getting painted that was in much better shape. How do I rotate the suspension pic 180? Edited February 7, 2025 by MV8 1
MV8 Posted February 8, 2025 Author Posted February 8, 2025 Looks like a curb strike to me too. The footwell wall inboard of the suspension was carbon fiber. No telling why it happened (maybe trying to avoid something worse than a curb) but the slick front tires don't suggest competence. Interesting to see the construction though.

Christopher smith Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 Apparently my 1959 Lotus 7 series 1 had a twin cam Alfa engine for quite some time in England before it was refitted for a Ford motor and I bought it . Strange choice I guess.
MV8 Posted March 7, 2025 Author Posted March 7, 2025 I've read where the alfa was used sometimes. If parts support and cost were about the same, the elegant alfa would be a nice choice. Owner priorities. I probably would have pulled it to sell to an alfa restorer, then fit something more common.
