Hey guys! Anybody know of any refresh kit or anybody that sells parts to rebuild the Ford LSD. Caterham sell rebuild kits for BMW LSD, but can't find anything, specially this side of the pond, to rebuild my diff. It's getting pretty noisy and clucky.

Thanks!

Burton Power keeps some of the parts.  Getting stuff from them in the UK is not a big deal.

Raceline is a source of parts in the UK also.

The units I believe were used in the Mercury Merkur here, but I think not maybe people keep those spares.

To some extent, bearings are bearings and seals are seals.  You might be be able to match locally.  The are several differentt types of LSD units.  On clutch type units the pats maybe to come from the LSD manufacturer.  I believe the most problematic are the Titans that were sourced with the CF clutches.

Scott Young here in Texas has one of mine now rebuilding it.  They have done lots of T-9s and variants.  Not sure if they have done any Sierra diff's before, but they should be far enough into mine to know if they want to do anymore.

Some of the wearing parts are on rockauto for an 87 or so merkur xr4ti. Dirt cheap as in remaining stock. Carrier bearings, pinion bearings, and the pinion seal. Still need the crush sleeve and side seals. Possibly a ring and pinion too.

Thanks! I'm In Colombia, so can't really send in my diff. My diff is from the R420 racecar, so I believe it has the sintered plates. Can't find much info on rebuilding those. I bought parts from a 485R to swap the drivetrain to mine (propshaft, bmw LSD Diff and driveshafts) but it's quite the project, since I have Sadev and 485s came with manual.

Mine was a racer and have been trying to tame it down for mixed use.

Sorry to derail thread, but does anyone know if the BMW diff LSD can be serviced/rebuilt without pulling the diff?
