straightcut Posted October 29, 2025 Posted October 29, 2025 I’ve included a photo that depicts the color (IMO). I also included a navy shirt that I expected it would be similar to.
JohnCh Posted October 29, 2025 Author Posted October 29, 2025 That looks much closer to the denim color available for the Mantra T-shirt. Regardless, it's not even close to what you ordered; they shouldn't have any issues with a return. Please let me know what happens.
straightcut Posted October 29, 2025 Posted October 29, 2025 (edited) Thank you, John! I sent a follow up message to the fulfillment firm with a color comparison picture. They don’t show neck size in their chart, but when compared to a Hanes L t-shirt (that’s not stretched), the 7 shirt is an inch smaller in diameter. If this is their normal neck size for a large, I’d probably prefer a golf shirt instead. Thanks so much for your comments and advice! Edited October 29, 2025 by straightcut
straightcut Posted November 9, 2025 Posted November 9, 2025 Just a quick update - so far, they’ve rejected my claim. The fulfillment company considers there to be a “normal variation” in shades of navy. Despite the shirt I received looking more like their “Denim” color than their “Navy” color, they’re holding the line. Size-wise, we’ll, my shirt is within their +/-2” spec and they don’t take collar size into consideration. I asked if they would give one last thought on the possibility that I may have received a shirt in Denim or True Navy, but I’m not holding any hope they’ll concede anything at this point…
IamScotticus Posted November 9, 2025 Posted November 9, 2025 (edited) Do we have rub-on tattoos yet? They look great on everything! Edited November 9, 2025 by IamScotticus
JohnCh Posted November 9, 2025 Author Posted November 9, 2025 It would be good to hear from others who have ordered a T-shirt. Was the size within the normal range for your other T-shirts, or did you feel the neck was much tighter than expected? There are only a handful of people who have ordered a Navy (not True Navy) T-shirt. If any of you read this, will you please let me know if you had a similar reaction to the color as @straightcut? If this is common, I can add a disclaimer to the merchandise site. @straightcut, I'll send you a PM later today. Thanks, John
straightcut Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 (edited) I stand corrected! I received an e-mail from Fourthwall (the fulfillment company) today, offering a replacement shirt in my choice of colors! I ordered the same Navy as before (hoping for Navy as depicted from their color sample) and asked for an XL, hoping for a slightly larger neck and longer shirt length. I really can't believe it. John, did you happen to e-mail them on my behalf?! Edit to add Follow-up to my replacement order (above) The "Navy" XL shirt arrived in a timely manner. The "Navy" was the same blue/grey with a slightly distressed appearance. As for as sizing, well it's an XL, so a little large on me, but it's close enough. Also, the tail is longer and the neck size seems normal. I'm satisfied and can live with the grey-ish appearance. The company did their best, in the end to satisfy my request...though it did take a lot of back and forth before they budged. Edited December 11, 2025 by straightcut 1
