There is a post with a web site above. I wouldn’t bother unless there was a place your helmet or head would hit it. Someone said belts stretch and that is true. How often have you seen a Caterham flip and land on its bar? No, it's not...it is made for padding and oblong so the thick portion faces the driver/passenger.... oh, I see Caterham's flip every day here abouts .... but that's not my worry...a small shunt where you are launched into your straps and then rebound.

I'm not sure about its ability to absorb shock unless wearing one. Still, better than steel. Charles, how hard is that padding you have? Look for SFI "dual durometer" padding. It has inner and outer sections where the outer is less dense. Pegasus lists it as, "Dual Durometer SFI 45.1 Roll Bar Padding" 1

bball7754 Posted Saturday at 04:36 PM Posted Saturday at 04:36 PM I use the SFI dual durometer on my Caterham when I track it. With my helmet on, the headrest pushes my head forward awkwardly. So, I remove the headrest and attach the foam with zip ties. No foam when not on the track.
Reiver Posted Saturday at 04:51 PM Author Posted Saturday at 04:51 PM That dual looks like it'll work
