mrmustang Posted Friday at 08:35 PM Posted Friday at 08:35 PM Since the car has not found a new owner yet, I figured I'd continue on with my original planned upgrades. So, I'm looking for a nice set of Black Leather SV seats with headrests. Found a set in the UK, but neither the UK or US based UPS stores want to touch them due to the unsteady tariff situation. Serious inquiries only please. Bill
theDreamer Posted Saturday at 01:53 AM Posted Saturday at 01:53 AM Why black and why the complete seats? You can get just leather covers to replace the cloth and save the expense of shipping big, heavy, awkward seats. With what you save you can pay an upholstery shop to make the switch. If you go this route, you can get a fun, light colour that won’t heat up as much as black in the bright sun. We’re very happy with our two tone grey leather. This set was on sale at one of the UK dealers a year or so ago. I liked them and I think they look good in a blue Caterham. 1

Interesting concept and idea, wonder if there is anyone who offers replacement seat covers for the cloth Caterham seats. As for black, a personal choice, now, if the car was BRG, then a tan set of seats would be awesome 1

She can ship just the covers for you to install plus also replacement foam inserts if the originals are done. I have a couple of pages on how to refurbish the S-type seats which I can scan and email once I get back home in 3-4 weeks. 1
