Ian7 Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Long story short, I'm looking for a non-vacuum, non-points distributor, same as or similar to the Aldon Automotive modified one. Points/condensor version considered under the right circumstances I guess. Please state which advance curve you have in any replies. New, NOS, or good used all considered. Thanks. Ian7 Posted May 21, 2008 Author Posted May 21, 2008 thx, no. vacuum advance adds extra complications, and I'm not convinced thats the best way to go regardless. cheers

Nordschleife Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 I believe that's an Aldon-modified distributor for Ford Crossflow, which is good. The 103 FXYS model is a Ford Non-Vacuum Advance "Yellow" with Side-entry plug wire cap. Don't know what the "U" and "L" stand for (unless it has a Luminition Ignitor for the L?)... See website at: http://www.aldonauto.co.uk/aprods.htm I've used Aldon products on English Ford and BMC (Mini) A-series for years with very good results.
