soareyes Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 After years of being asked if my Seven has a VW engine, here is a one that really does, and its for sale! VW Powered Seven But I want to know what's up front under his bonnet now that the engine is in the back?

Robert O. Urfer Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I saw that thing on ebay and t is about an hour from me. I may go look at it and see what it is exactly. I don't think I will buy it unless it is less than $1000 because it is kind of laughable as a 7 clone. Maybe I could trade it for the SR27:)
locost7018 Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 That looks like a middy water cooled to me. Not a rear engine air cooled. I think it is nicely done to me. But I am not interested.
jayemtea Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I wonder if that last quote might have come from a fellow who would be painting the near clone a near orange color?
