Al N.
I think Mazda has those....and maybe bob drye too... I'm personally biased toward rounds, tho...
slngsht
I have them, bob has something different. The high beams light up EVERYTHING in the distance... and the integrated running lights / turn signals are nice too. Overall, I'm with Al though. Having had them, I'm very happy with the light output, but I long for the look of the chrome round headlights. The SR27 has a source for round HID lights, and I'm sure they can be found other places too. They were out of my budget though. If you decide to go with them, talk to me before buying them new. I *might* part with mine. again, it's a matter of classic look thing, and there isn't much on my car that looks classic

BusaNostra
Oh! I never thought that the lamp is very low profile. How does the other one you mentioned look like? I thought the Piaa P-4000 is a bit bigger. I bit dissapointed to see the headlamp very small.

banjo29
I have round HID's, although they are black housing not chrome, and not a DOT approved light. They also have no hi/low, but they do put out plenty of light on low only. They are Trail Tech SC4, designed for ATV's, available in 30W or 40W, about $380-$420 for a pair. Ballasts are internal to the housing, so they just connect with power and ground. Trail Tech SC4 HID http://www.marshsite.com/avatar.jpg

WestTexasS2K
This is a 5" light from PIAA that is a dual beam and puts off great light. The covers pop off. It is a black housing with black ring. It comes with relays and wiring and is simple to hook up. They perform very well. Also added benefit it they are SAE legal. Shop around and they can be found for about 300.00 a set. http://www.piaa.com/Lamps/Lamp-pages/525.html
