I was invited to participate in my Grand Daughter's school's Veterans Memorial Service earlier today. It was one of the few times in my life that I felt appriciated for service of my country. There were over 200 student related Vets that were treated to a local Honor Guard demonstration, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, bag pipes with Amazing Grace, choir, video, flag cerimony, individual acknowledgment, and lunch. Students were very enthusiastic and it was great to see a school spend this much effort for Memorial Day.:flag:
