MNlotus
i just got my seven, but can't drive it till it gets inspected in two weeks. i already noticed all my shoes are too big for the pedals. i have been looking at some pumas and found these http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7477341/c/1001.html would these fit, or would they be too big? actually just found these racing boots. im sure that they should fit http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001B52X3A/ref=nosim/?tag=nextag-apparel0c-mp-delta-20&creative=380333&creativeASIN=B001B52X3A&linkCode=asn what has everyone else gone with? MoPho
The Puma's are great and will fit just fine, much better than Piloti's (which is another common driving shoe) IMO, albeit the Piloti's are better for walking and standing around than the Pumas, but the Piloti's are no where as good a driving shoe, which is the point of buying them isn't it? ( I have both) I have Puma speedcats http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/6814228/c/151.html they are fantastic. They run about a half size small
slngsht
I have the Pumas and am happy with them, but I can also drive my seven with regular dress shoes without much of a problem.
thegoat
I don't yet have a 7, but I have the speedcats for my exige. I think they are great driving shoes. Your feet might get a little tired if you have to stand around in them though.
Croc
I had trouble getting the speedcats to fit my feet and so ended up going with Pikolinos. Hard to find but really nice to wear and drive with.
KStier
I have a pair of pilotis I bought off amazon...size 13 feet and with the pedals adjusted well, I was able to drive a Birkin without trouble and Croc's SV as well. I had some trouble in a standard caterham though.
stevet
My feet are size 12 and the speedcats were perfect for my Caterham...
Hank
Can you get the Speedcats in the mall at a store like Footlocker?
thegoat
The easiest place is zappos.com. and you can order up a bunch of different sizes to get the fit right and then send the extras back without paying for shipping either way. not affiliated with zappos, but just find it easy to shoe shop with them. JeffC
Hmmm...I read the thread title and thought the discussion was going to be about tires.
