Mike Rohaley Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 (edited) We just hit 50,000 miles on one of our little country backroads this morning. Looking forward to the next 50. Yeah! Edited October 4, 2009 by Mike Rohaley
pksurveyor Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 good to see that the car is being used instead of being a garage queen.
Kitcat Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Very impressive! Se7en miles are like dog-years: one Se7en mile is about the same as going six miles in a normal car. I wonder if anyone on this site has gone further? I suspect not. Mike
slngsht Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Mike, I think there are a few past 50K mark. I'm sure they'll chime in. I agree with the seven-miles comment. lol
11Budlite Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Very impressive Mike! has Cherik broken 100k? Looks like he's a little over 80k: http://my.voyager.net/~quadrant19/maintenance.htm

I wonder if anyone on this site has gone further? I suspect not. Mike I do a bit of long distance touring, some weekend blats and a track day here or there. But nothing during the week and so my mileage is only 30,000 in 6 years. I am embarrassed..... But I disagree with the 6x assessment of Se7en miles. On the contrary: An hour spent traveling in a normal car is just an hour lost from my life. An hour in the Se7en feels at least neutral on the balance sheet. Gert Edited October 5, 2009 by slomove
Cherik Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Well done Mike! ...looks like you didn't even stop to make that picture! Cherik
rubo Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 (edited) Mine has 61K on it..though I've only done about 1.2K in since I bought it about 3 months ago... What a GREAT summer for a 21 year old kid! Edited October 10, 2009 by rubo
