DeanG
Took the car back to the shop today. 9 miles in 45 deg weather. The engine temperature was up to 90 deg when I shut it down to push it into the shop. My legs were cold from a breeze going up my pant legs, also my thighs from turbulence. The rest of me was fine. I replaced the light raincoat with a winter jacket and added a full face helmet with no shield. Even with the helmet, but without ear plugs, it was still too loud and my left ear feels stuffy. DeanG
Ski pants would do the trick. I will probably wear the fuzzy high tech pants I use for sailing in the fall & winter. In the above I forgot to mention I also had a vest and motorcycle gloves. My gloves need a bit of TLC. I haven't ridden much since I stopped trying to road race. That was over 20 years ago. 11Budlite
Thanks Robert. Unfortunately with the crap they put on the roads the Birkin didn't get out of the driveway. One of these days I'd like to take it to an empty parking lot to see how it'd do in the snow! :driving:
