Anyone know how many CSRs came to the USA? I recall one at the LOG in Indianapolis ( a CSR 260 if I remember correctly) and none last year at LOG in Birmingham. Seems like they were very pricey in the States, a few options put them in the Porsche GT3 territory.

I believe CaterhamUSA has brought in at least four of them. I've seen two different ones in their shop.

 

One was pretty much totaled, requiring a new frame, suspension and bodywork. IIRC, three of the four went to the NW part of the country.

Not sure if this was in your count Skip, but there was one for sale last year at Seven & Elans http://www.sevenselans.com/cars_for_sale/2006_caterham_csr/index.htm

 

I was a little confused that the 2006 kit was only being assembled in 2009 by Sevens & Elans - it was out of my budget so I never rang to check.

I know of two in the Seattle area, one of which is the car that was damaged and rebuilt.

I was curious so I called Ben at CaterhamUSA. He thinks there are 10 - 12 CSRs in the USA.

there is a silver csr260 in northheast ohio , the same one that was at log in indy.
