Brand New Caterham Chassis

I have a new Caterham chassis that was going to be the basis of a still-born vintage race car project that I'd now like to sell. Absolutely perfect RHD chassis built to S2/S3 Lotus specs. This is a black powdercoated chassis, and the aluminum skins still have the blue plastic protective film on them. Ready for assembly. Will sell for the $11K that I have in it. Do you have an upgraded oil pump for the Kent engine? If so, how much $?

 

My stock oil pump manages abt 25 lbs pressure once all is warmed up. According to the most recent edition of the Lotus magazine, ReMarque, the stock pump is a weak leak in the Kent engine, low oil pressures are standard, and upgrades are recommended.

Pump is easily shimmed for more pressure. I'm currently in process of trying to iterate pressure down a bit after over-shimming to 100+ psi :-)

Not bad! At least considering my OEM caterham gauge goes to 8 bar.. ;-)
