DeanG Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Se7en makes the list http://jalopnik.com/5609161/ten-old-cars-that-look-new/gallery/
locost7018 Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 I would have to add the Mazda MX6 older body style. I love its swoopy looks. Russ
slngsht Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 have they looked at new cars lately? on that list, I'd definitely say the 3rd gen RX-7 still looks as sharp as ever.
DLW Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I nominated the first-gen Lotus Elise, it was absolutely beautiful, even more so than the current model. But no Lotus body styles look better than the Six, Seven and Eleven to me.
Arya Ebrahimi Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 (edited) Before I even opened the link I knew the NSX would be on the list. One of my favorite "timeless" cars. Edited August 11, 2010 by Arya Ebrahimi
slngsht Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 yup, i would definitely put NSX right near the top... definitely over the S2000. and C5 vette... well, I'm partial to that car. Still looking good 14 years later. http://www.z06-corvette.com/media/C5-Z06-Corvette-Silver-01.jpg
powderbrake Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 and C5 vette... well, I'm partial to that car. Still looking good 14 years later. I agree, I liked the looks of my C5 better than my C6
Oyagi Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 My NSX hits 18 this year and people ask me everyday I drive it whether its a new model.
DeanG Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 My NSX hits 18 this year and people ask me everyday I drive it whether its a new model. I get the same thing when I drive the M100. Styles may change but good design is timeless.
twobone Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Any Porsche 911 (except the 996 years). Same timeless shape
HankMauel Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 How about the original Lotus Elite? Considering it was designed in the same time frame as the 7, they both illustrate the fertile genius of Colin Chapman!
