scannon
0 - 60 mph in 3.9 seconds???
slngsht
I'm not buying the 3.9 seconds, but a very neat car and concept. I'm really impressed. 40mph in the air is not exactly bookin' it, but where there are very few roads, just being able to take shortcuts in the air is a huge savings. Seems much more practical than any other flying car I've seen.
Mondo
I'm wondering how you set up the parachute for take off and landings... seems it may get caught in the propellar

WestTexasS2K
It is basicly like a powered parachute with a drive transaxle. It varies at little with the mast pole to hold the chute up for quicker take off and landing. It must give it a little more wind stabilization too. Powered parachutes dont handle winds of more than 8-10 mph from what I have read. I wanted a Buckeye Powered Parachute years ago, but I live in TExas and the wind always blows. After looking at the website they use a subaru 2.5l on the standard version and turbo version with 300hp is an option. It uses a CVT trans and weighs less than 1000lbs so 3.9 sec to 60 sounds plausable. Looks like fun to me. I doubt it with those tires. skinny. I'm pretty sure it's doable with the right wheels and tires.
WestTexasS2K
I agree that not likely with those tires but the potential is there.
