That was awesome, wonder how many countless hours have gone into achieving that level of skill? Amazing balance, co-ordination and trust in each other.

As a parent of two daughters, there is absolutely NO WAY I'd let my kids do that. Can you imagine the carnage during the practices?

 

Talk about an accident waiting to happen! Notice that Men don't participate in this event. One slip and you're now singing with he the High end of the Choir. :puke:

That is a very old kind of sports in some European countries; in Germany it started over a 100 years ago. It is a bit exotic and mostly for teens and not extremely popular. Crashes do happen all the time, but I am not aware of frequent serious injuries. Maybe these folks train for that. You will find men just as well and I suppose they do need some jewel protection:willy_nilly:

 

Anyway, google "cheerleading accidents" and you will find people doing a lot of risky and stupid stuff.

Needs more excitement. They need to mount an ooga horn on the handlebars and hit it once in a while. :)
