NJMP June 27th and 28th Trackdays and get together

Ok guys, we are now just 2 months away from potentially a great 7's get together at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

 

Sports Car Driver Association (SCDA) is hosting track days at NJMP on Monday June 27th on the Lightning course and again on Tuesday June 28th on the Thunderbolt course. https://www.scda1.com/home

 

When we last discussed this event in February, there were potentially 15 or so 7's that expressed interest in getting together for Monday and a few that would stay for both days.

 

As I said before, a trackday with a bunch of 7's and guys who are fun to hang out with for a couple of day will be a special event.

 

Price for one track day is $295.00 and if you sign up for both days there is a discount rate of $545.00 and an earlybird signup discount of an additional 10%% if you sign up between Now and June 13th, the rate is $490.50.

 

I ran with this group last year and it was well organized and safely run.

 

Right now I'd just like to get an idea of who is still interested in doing this event. When I last spoke to Ian at SCDA he said he'd might be able to do a few things if we got a nice showing of 7's to participate.

 

So If you think you'd like to get together with a bunch of 7's both for a fun track day or two and or you can also just bring your 7 and watch. (that's Free!!) I'll assume that some of us will arrive on Sunday night and probably get together for dinner and a night of comedy,politics and general rowdyness.:party:

 

No registration is required at this time, this is just to get an idea of what the potential turnout will be, now that we are only two months out.

I am still planning on being there-by midday Sunday, hopefully. Since I will be driving the 600 miles in my Cat, it depends on how much weather (and how many breakdowns:)) between here and there. I have the time blocked out on my calendar. There are a few loose ends that could derail my plan but I am 85% sure I will be there.

Count me in. Definitely there for Monday and quite possibly Tuesday assuming I can escape work and have not lunched the car by then. I definitely plan to stay there Sunday and probably Monday night to make it a social event.

Ok, we have 4 possibles at this point. I know there are several others that might be able to make it. You guys can't leave Kitcat and I alone with Karl and Croc snd their new beasts. If we get a few more we can at least set up a rolling road block to impede them a bit. :rofl:
