The car comes home to my parking stall tomorrow, and if I decide not to sell it, It will be there until my next attempt at the OOP in the spring. If you would like further detail I can provide it, but not here.

The main challenge appears to be that I require bumpers, but have yet to receive the qualifications the bumper must meet from the government authority.

I may be at that point were the joy the car could give me has been eclipsed by the pain it has given me. I will be taking serious consideration to selling it over the winter.

Hang in there Duane. I remember when I was dealing with a Frustrating dealer who I bought the kit from, and after almost 14 months, I thought that my Dream had turned into a Nightmare. But after getting sufficiently pissed and having a good lawyer send a nice little note, I eventually got it on the road. 13 years later now, the frustration was worth the wait. Plus Yellow cars are the best looking ones. :leaving:

You are not seriously going to let the powers that be win are you! Get the spec for the bumpers, put the damned things on, get it thru the inspection and then take them off...come on Duane it's time to drive that thing!!!

Keep on with the program Duane.

Once your up and on the road, you will be very pleased with yourself and it will all seem a distant memory.

The short answer is "No". I have been having challenges getting motivated to get out an work on her. I have a list of things to do to get it ready for the test, but she just gathers dust.

Last year I had a tough time with the inspection fail. Not so much with what I did incorrectly (minor things), but with the items I was asked to change that don't seem to apply to any of the other cars. This has resulted in my lack of motivation to even bother.

How about a get together with the lads to see if a solution could be worked out.

Im up for that. Any suggestions are welcome. Lets get Duane back on track so to speak! Or at least on the road.

I dont really need another 7. It wasnt what I had in mind (ha ha). Just willing to help you get on the road, if possible. Its blatting time and for sure there will be some coming up soon. Not to mention some auto X events.

I hope to go get the car started this weekend. I have had gobs of stuff keeping me busy recently.

First up will be a bath for her and a run down on the stuff that needs doing. Some things got removed and moved around for storage.

The motivation for the project is my biggest hurdle at the moment. The inspection last year took the wind from my sails and I haven't been able to get it back.
