Still gathering bits to ressurect our early Catheram...

Looking for the sideligths that mount on the outer edge of the clamshell fenders. These would be redundant to anyone who has switched over to cycle fenders.

Thanks

Well, technically those would be redundant to anyone who has switched to cycle fenders mounted to their uprights. The original Lotus 7 had Lucas L516's mounted to its "cycle fenders" which were fixed to the chassis.

Lotus had L516's on the clamshell Sevens as well. Clams just don't look correct without them.

Unfortunately, 516's are a bit pricey these days. It's as if they're made of diamond plated unobtainium. Needless to say, I check the fixings on mine regularly.

I have an unused set of the Caterham(Fiat?) side lamps I'd be willing to part with.

I got lucky and just picked up a pair of NOS 516's for $125.00 Whats REALLY hard to find is "affordable" Wingard 1055 tail lights!

Paul, sadly these aren't the valuable Lucas, but presume they'd do... what else you need? maybe after a dozen or so parts I'll have to charge you LOL

Thanks Ian, they'll do quite nicely! As for price, well, we can sort that out when you deliver the goods!

As for other parts my/our biggest dilemna is still pedals and master cylinder mounts. Shocking that to date we have had absolutely zero luck finding anything. I've looked at various aftermarket pedal/master assemblies from Tilton and the like but would prefer something that is closer to oem, preferably that leaves us with a functioning true firewall with no holes.

Unless some lurker here has something better to offer I plan to replicate the late 80s/90s style that Caterham used.

Life and priorities continue to get in the way of project progress but we live in hope...
