blubarisax
Ya know Mike, I have a set of 13" bias ply Avon Formula Continental slicks that have never been used that I could let go real cheap! I figured out it's too much work to switch from radials to bias ply. They might be just what you need to stay on the track!!!
yellowss7
Thx guys. As you know Karl, I put a hole in the side of one of mine Saturday, while also bending the wheel. First time I ever hit a pile of rocks when sliding off a racetrack. You'd think they wld remove them? Much nicer to just get grass stains on the tire, as I did in a subsequent slide off elsewhere. Of course, even nicer to stay on the track.... Yeah, we are at lunch and sitting with one of the principle owners of the track, who says " I was in the tower watching as you went off in turn 7", and Mike replys, " Which time" :smilielol5::smilielol5:And then procedes to tell him of his other offs on the prior day. Meanwhile, I'm trying to kick him under the table to make him shut up. :deadhorse: Pretty funny. I'm sure they can't wait for your return Mike. :jester: Tom
wemtd
Blatantly off topic... Is an avatar change in order now that you've become fully acquainted with the Birkin?
Kitcat
I have to revive the: "What happens at NJMP stays at NJMP" concept! Karl, I have 15" wheels (or what's left of them) so cant use your 13" tires, tho more grip is a good suggestion. Paul: yes, time for a new Avatar. Maybe Croc will send me a shot of one of my "offs" to insert in place of my sweet Caterham (wh/never went off at NJMP).
yellowss7
Karl, I may be interested in the avon slicks. What width rim are they speced for? I assume it is tires only not already mounted on rims, right? Tom
blubarisax
Tom, These tires fit 6-8" rims in the front and 8-10 in the rear. I suspect your wheels are way too wide!!! Kitcat
Terry, I need a single tire. Do you sell individual tires, or just in sets of 4? Mike
