Well I think the X-Bow is ugly, big and heavy so it doesn't have my interest, but had they used the very modern BAC Mono that supposedly broke I would have been drooling. Perhaps I am not old enough, but I did the vintage car thing and no thank you to doing it again. Mondo Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 I have to agree with Mopho (Lotus Europa)... you have to remember that when you were jetting the carbs and playing with the timing you were doing kind of high tech things back then. Throwing on an aftermarket ECU, hooking up a laptop and playing with fuel ratios per rpm will probably be nostalgic to someone 20 years from now. I would buy one in a second if it was affordable... and why wouldnt it be? Its something that could be built with a donor motorcycle and a rather small kit. If they're getting away with charging that kind of money, then there's a niche not being attended to. Thats rare these days. I've seen them at shows but have yet to see one on the road. The styling is OK, but not a home run IMO, but much better than the X-Bow. Nicely built car with a good power to weight ratio. It was horrible, the steering was mush, and it was the scariest handling car I've ever driven. It would go from heavy understeer to snap oversteer in a blink of an eye. The magazine tester said it was the only car he ever spun straight line testing. It is a beautifully designed 3 wheeler and you can base it off a VW motor. I tried to get info from the company a few years ago, but my emails were ignored.
