Automoda
Impressive-- But its just not me. Part of me wants one but if I somehow found a way to pull in that kind of money, I'd never actually pull the trigger. I could not enjoy a sports car with $50,000 dollar tail lights when there are so many ways to use that money for good. There comes a point when it starts reminding me of a sort of gluttony, decadence, and self indulgence that ends up souring the whole idea of a fun drive. At the same time I can understand an artistic engineer wanting to build 'the perfect machine'. And the fact the dream was achieved is awesome. MHKflyer52
That sure is a work of art and the craftsmanship that goes into producing that type of art form, object, machine or car is just amazing to say the least. Just makes me wish I could just sit and talk to the designers and the builders of the Huayra and try to learn something from them as they are just amazing and so so talented that as a mechanical designer I feel that they are way out of my leage and abilities but then if I had the resources to afford the time and money to do something like that then they might not be out there that far. Sure is a beautiful car but I also know that it is not very practical even if you can afford the price of ownership but what car of this caliber is and that includes our beloved 7s also in my belief. Now I wounder what small nation would cost the same as the Pagani Huayra?
ayseven
That car pretty much sums up Italy for me: completely irreverent towards reality. But looks quite cool. I love the place, and if you don't get it, that's quite sad, but to each his own.
Mondo
I think it would be awesome to design and build. Even to drive. But I wouldn't want to be seen driving it. Couldn't get past the "flaunting it" feeling. Of course I say that now... but if I won the lotto and could afford the car and rent out the track for myself and friends it might be a different story.
