Guest Terry Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I am trying to upload some pictures and they are just to big, how do they get resized?
Croc Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Hi Terry - A better idea than uploading the images on to the USA7s server which limits you to small pic sizes is to get a free Photobucket or other free photo hosting account (Picasa, etc). Then you upload all your photos onto that site. To show the image here select the image address (top left on internet browser) and insert it into the post by clicking on the "Insert Image" icon that shows when you click on "Reply to Thread" or you can just go "paste web address" Through the wonders of computing it will resize the images for you. Hope this helps
MHKflyer52 Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Hi Terry, As Croc has said use a service like Picasa as it is free and you can control who can see what photos you want to display to the world with their controls. www,picasa.google.com Hope this helps.
Hudson Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 (edited) Terry, If you have "Windows Live Photo Gallery" on your computer, right click on the picture and pick resize from the menu. Program came on the Dell but I have no idea how standard it is.... sorry. Ed edit: free download Edited June 11, 2012 by Hudson
JohnCh Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 They are two different things. SkyDrive is for cloud storage and using Office Web Apps. Windows Live Photo Gallery is a photo editing/organization tool. You can use the latter to resize your photos and SkyDrive to share them with others via the web -John
