Apple Update 6

I just updated my Ipad and old 4s I phone and the update has some needed changes, but it took my You Tube app off my phone and I-pad both. I use that App the most and its gone now. Anyone have a good reason for this. I sent Apple a note, I doubt they car much. I can still access thru the net but it was sure nice to just touch one button to get there.

Disappointing but not really surprising - Youtube is Google. :svengo:

 

I might hold off updating my iPOS software knowing this

 

There are other Youtube buffer apps that can be used but they are not as good as the official youtube one.

I tried those apps but they just don't work as good as the original. I'll just have to get use to it.

I had the same experience as Loren.

 

My phone is now set to operate via the ''cloud", a misleading name if there ever was one. I read recently that Google built one of its cloud centers near a hydroelectric dam in Washington state so that it wld have access to clean energy. It also added backup diesel generators in case the hydro power failed. The back up units can generate the elec power equal to 1/3 of a nuclear power plant. That is one energy-consuming cloud!

youtube is a free download... just not an app that comes with the OS anymore. Just go to the app store and download it. works exactly as before.
