DeanG
"We did a new body style that could fit a Caterham or Seven in 3D. Its a indy roadster style with a retro twist that could look cool on a chassis from a Caterham" http://newsblogg.viztech.se/2013/05/07/westfield-caterham-lotus-seven-conversion/

MichaelD
That muffler might be a bit warm on my left arm But good looking. Nice job.
Automoda
My thoughts: The wheels are very large (which is correct for an old Indie racer) so the center of the wheel is higher off the ground. That changes the geometry of the suspension, so the whole suspension would need a redesign. Keep in mind a higher drive shaft to meet with a higher rear axle, too. Double check your front wheels-- do they stick out far enough to actually allow cornering on the street without touching the body? I'd put the fuel tank on the other side. It'd help with balance and it'd make more sense to put it opposite of the exhaust. Plus I'd rather burn up the passenger than me, the driver. Its a cool looking tank though. The high exhaust is inconvenient but awesome enough to stay as is. Just make sure you can actually step on the nerf bar to get over the exhaust and we're good. To be realistic, you'd need to have fenders on it to drive it on the street. Flat black and tight fitting cycle fenders. The interior is a little hot-rod for me. I think I'd go with something a little less plush. Be sure that it takes a 5 point harness. The 3D work is fantastic. I've never been able to model vehicles. Its a true skill. Great work on that, and the design as a whole.

The fuel tank was in the rear, behind the driver, just as on our Sevens.
WestTexasS2K
That is great looking concept. I would drive one of those in a second. Great job.
Toyotus 7
That's a great looking car. I had been wondering what a seven would look like with Indian chief style skirted fenders, modified nose and Duvall windscreen and a carson top with scalloped paint, but this is way better. Nice job. rzempel
I like it. Too bad they don't have a real product to drool over and dream about.
danilo
If I read it Right? Professional "illustrators" Still... the Blue 50's style Offenhauser does catch one's eye. 420 hp in this one :-) Edited May 14, 2013 by danilo
DeanG
It might be an interesting market for one of the non-Caterham builders. It would certainly be fun.
