Hi y'all

I have had my 1962 Lotus 7 since 1977. I bought it in Glasgow, Scotland, drove in around Scotland, England and Ireland then shipped it back to Toronto. It's been off the road being "restored" since 1986. In between build homes and working and having so called pros doing work on it (most of which I've had to re-do) it's taken till now that I'm retired to get it to the point where if I really try I may have it on the road by next spring. That's the plan anyway.

Hope I can get some tech advice along the way.

I don't live in Toronto any more. I've moved to Barrie.

I've tried to put in a picture in the avatar but it just keeps failing.

As for just posting pictures ????????

I hate computers cause they are always smarter than me and know exactly what I want to do. I never seem to be right.

Welcome. You'll enjoy this forum; knowledgeable, friendly, fun, entertaining. As for pictures (attachments) use the 'Go Advanced' feature when you post and hen use the 'Attachment' (paper clip icon) feature, Then, browse for the picture/s you want to load . . . that'll get you started in the right direction.

Welcome! I'm down in Port Credit with an 89' S3 live axle. The lotusclubcanada group have a great spring and fall run.

I joined the "Lotus Club Canada" back in 1978, even before Hugh Sutherland!

Was a member till the newsletter went electronic, then never got a membership fee reminder and fell through the cracks. Asked at British Car day who to talk to but got no definitive answer.

Now... lets see if I can follow xcarguy's instructions and post some shots.

1st pic is in the lake district in England after buying it in Glasgow in 1977.

2nd pic is in my garage in Toronto after it was shipped (note damage on the nose)

3rd pic is after its first repaint circa 1979

4th pic is at a Lotus meet near Orangeville circa 1980.

Will post pics of its condition presently
