I did that 9 years ago. It's a great feeling. But I had more time to do things whenI was working that I do now. Too many irons in the fire. Good luck, Russ

I saw the "Headline" and I thought your wife "fired" you!

Good Luck and Happy Trails!

No excuses for not having the car ready for 7/7/7 now! :reddevil:

Steve, see Busa's post for excuse

I'll make it to the dragon :yesnod:

Finally turned in my badge and walked out of work yesterday. :hurray:

8 hours of freedom was great. Now I gotta go make a living for real :)

Mazdz you will find that you have less time now than when you had job but it sure is nice to be in a position to be able to slect what job and were your going to due that job at and for whom.

Enjoy the time away from corporate life.

PS: I retired in 1990 then started a bussiness and sold it to start another and sold it in early 2006 to retire again and found that I was going stir crazy (real truth is my wife of 20+ yrs said I needed to find something to due) so I found another job working for someone else to keep the space between the ears working and to keep my wife happy, so far I like what I am doing now.
