which widetrack front suspension should i get?

What is the ultimate goal with these changes? I found that my stock , non adjustable narrow track front suspension with stock springs was just as fast as any other Caterham at the track, including all those wide track Cats.

Dial in a little toe out for quicker turn in, more caster for quicker return to steering center. Add some negative camber for a bit more grip. All of the stock parts are designed to work in harmony and do. I am just wondering if all this part swapping will produce a noticeable, or measurable gain?

Oh Mike, you just don't appreciate the satisfaction one gets from throwing mud at a wall, especially when there're so many different colors and it occupies so much time - while (hopefully) not harming anything 'cept perhaps the bank account.

Oh come on Mike. Its like Blubarisax buying up the entire global supply of carbon fiber for his car to make it lighter and therefore faster. It is well accepted that lightening a heavy wallet does improve performance in a seven. I have seen it first hand. It also adds extra inches mentally to a gentleman's performance. :cooldude:

If you try and justify purchasing upgrades with logic and common sense the male world as we know will explode! :svengo:

Croc, I beg to differ. I've gotten much faster as I have added carbon fiber and shed a few pounds. (Or maybe it is just the seat time over the last three years!) Keep in mind that I don't have a diffuser just to keep from having an unfair advantage.

I vote for the wide track suspension. Why would they make it if it won't make you faster?
