ihckb2
Thanks S2K2 for the old clippings. I had heard that Caterham had some dealings with the Canadian Group and copyright infringement, namely the Fejer Brothers, but have never seen anything in print that confirmed this. Small little blurb in the clippings confirm that Caterham had the Canadian Group in their radar. Does anybody on the 7's site have any more info on the demise of the Canadian 7 (Fejer Seven) by Canadian Sportcars? I think there is a member that is related to the Fejers, maybe he can provide more insight.

wemtd
Birkin won in South African court. Think I've got it somewhere... It's all greek to me, but section 23 caught my eye: [23] There is a small group of people w ho are passionate about old and inconvenient cars and who are prepared to buy a replica of a car 7 designed in 1968 in which the designer himself had lost interest in 1970. Toyotus 7
I'd also be interested to learn more the Fejer cars. I know that there are still a handful on Vancouver Island from an honest attempt at marketing the cars on the west coast in the early to mid eighties. I believe that the guy who was marketing them in Victoria through Canadian Sportscars Ltd (or some similar name) is still a member of the English car club out here. I'll try to see if he an shed some light on it. Unless I'm mistaken, I think that one of the period magazine articles on the cars stated that the Fejers owned the rights to produce the seven in Canada at that time. However, I've also heard that there was a lawsuit.

coffee break
Chapman - his concept of racing (if you are into racing, you must read his interview) Click the magnifying glass + at the bottom of the page to zoom. https://www.dropbox.com/s/37ehkmn1wdqwumh/Chapman13.PDF I like the part about using fuel flow as a controlling factor. He was only +30 years early!
